Village Design Statement - Notice Board
Hosted on Behalf of the Village Design Statement Steering Committee
The Urswick Parish Plan, which may be seen at this website, indicates
the intention to produce a Village Design Statement for Urswick Parish.
The Village Design Statement is now at an advanced stage of preparation
with contents consistent with the presentations given to public meetings
during 2007 and incorporates proposals put forward at those meetings.
Further public consultation will be undertaken, details of which will be announced on this webpage as well as on the notice boards around the parish.
Passing discussion with SLDC officers in May indicated that with their present workload, associated with the Local Development Framework, Core Strategy Preferred Options Report, it was unlikely that they would be available for discussion on the Urswick Parish Village Design Statement for a number of weeks.
Further discussion with SLDC in early July resulted in agreement to postpone a meeting until September 2008 due to continuing heavy workload.
